These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the RightPose AI service (the "Service") provided by FineHour Inc. (the "Company"), and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
By accessing or using the Service, the User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to set out the basic matters regarding the use of the RightPose AI software and related services provided by the Company, including the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users, and the conditions and procedures for using the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.
- "Service" means the RightPose AI desktop application, the website (rightposeai.com), related APIs, and all supplementary features provided by the Company.
- "User" means members and non-members who use the Service under these Terms.
- "Member" means a person who has provided personal information to the Company, completed member registration, and is able to use the Service on an ongoing basis.
- "Free Service" means the posture detection and notification features available without a separate payment.
- "Pro Service" means the ad-free Pro features available through a monthly subscription payment.
- "Content" means any and all information within the Service, including text, data, and settings, that is created or provided by a Member or provided by the Company.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions (Korea) and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (Korea).
- When these Terms are amended, the Company shall specify the effective date and reasons for the amendment and give notice, together with the current Terms, on the Service's initial screen or by email from 7 days before the effective date. However, changes unfavorable to users shall be announced 30 days in advance.
- If the user does not expressly object within the notice period, the user is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
- Matters not stipulated in these Terms, and their interpretation, are governed by applicable laws and commercial practice.
Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
- The service agreement is formed when the user agrees to these Terms and completes sign-up.
- The Company may refuse an application for membership or subsequently terminate the service agreement in any of the following cases.
- Where the application was made using another person's information or false information
- If the applicant is under 14 years of age (including applications made without the consent of a legal guardian)
- Where the user has previously been subject to service restriction or agreement termination
- Other violations of applicable laws or Company policies
- The user must promptly update any information entered at sign-up if it changes; the Company is not liable for any disadvantage arising from a failure to update.
Article 5 (Service Details)
- The Company provides the following services.
- Camera-based posture detection and real-time feedback (tech neck, rounded shoulders, head tilt)
- Personalized calibration learning
- Notifications from the system tray
- Usage statistics and posture history features
- Ad-free experience for Pro subscribers
- Camera video and images used for posture analysis are processed only on the user's device (locally) and are not transmitted to or stored on external servers.
- The specific features and specifications of the Service may change in accordance with the Company's policies, and important changes will be announced in advance.
- The Company may provide updates to improve service quality, and some updates may be required to be installed in order to use the Service.
Article 6 (Member Accounts and Information Management)
- Members must manage their own account (email and password) and must not provide or share account information with third parties.
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from the loss or theft of account information unless caused by its willful misconduct or negligence.
- If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately andfinehour@fine-hour.com.
- Members may hold only one account, and accounts may not be transferred or sold.
Article 7 (Paid Services and Payment)
- The Pro Service is provided as a monthly subscription, and the price is stated on the payment page.
- Payments are processed through Toss Payments Co., Ltd. and support credit cards, debit cards, and easy-pay services. Original payment details such as card numbers are not stored on the Company's servers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled.
- If fees change during a subscription period, notice will be given 30 days before the change takes effect, and users may cancel before the change.
- If you subscribe through the Microsoft Store, that platform's payment policy applies.
Article 8 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)
⚠️ Due to the nature of digital content, the right of withdrawal may be limited.
Under Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (Korea), the right of withdrawal may be limited once provision of digital content has begun. However, refunds are processed within the scope permitted by law.
- Cancel subscription: The user may at any time, via My Page in the app orfinehour@fine-hour.com. After cancellation, you can continue using Pro for the remainder of the subscription period, and auto-renewal stops once the period ends.
- Refund policy:
- Within 7 days of payment and Pro features not used: full refund
- More than 7 days after payment or Pro features used: no refund in principle. However, if caused by reasons attributable to the Company such as service outages, a prorated refund is provided
- Refund requests finehour@fine-hour.com. We will respond within 5 business days.
- Subscriptions made through the Microsoft Store follow Microsoft's refund policy.
Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)
- Copyright and intellectual property rights in all content within the Service, including software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and icons, belong to the Company.
- The user may use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes and may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or disassemble it without the Company's express permission.
- Posture history, settings data, and similar data created by the user while using the Service belong to the user; however, the user is deemed to grant the Company a limited license to store and process such data within the Service.
- The Company may use feedback and suggestions provided by the User to improve the Service without separate compensation.
Article 10 (Prohibited Conduct)
The user must not engage in any of the following acts.
- Using the service with another person's stolen account information or false information
- Copying, distributing, modifying, decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the Service software
- Unauthorized access to the Service or bulk data collection using automated tools, bots, scrapers, etc.
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or placing excessive load on the servers
- Bypassing subscription payment or illegally activating Pro features
- Acts that violate applicable laws or these Terms
- Infringing the intellectual property, likeness, privacy, or other rights of the Company or third parties
- Interfering with the Company's business or damaging its reputation
If any of the above prohibited acts occur, the Company may restrict use of the Service or terminate the service agreement without prior notice.
Article 11 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
- The Company may change the content of the Service or temporarily suspend it for reasons such as service improvement, technical reasons, or operational needs.
- If a service suspension or a major feature change is planned, we will give notice at least 7 days in advance. However, in unavoidable cases such as urgent security patches, changes may proceed without prior notice.
- For paid services, if the service is interrupted for 24 hours or more due to causes attributable to the Company, users may request a pro-rated refund of fees corresponding to the interruption period.
- If the Company permanently discontinues the Service, it will give at least 30 days' notice and refund the remaining fees for any subscription period valid at that time.
Article 12 (Termination of the Service Agreement)
- Termination by the user: Members may at any time use the account deletion function on My Page in the app orfinehour@fine-hour.com. Upon termination, member information and related data are deleted immediately, and this process cannot be undone. However, information that must be retained under applicable laws is kept for the required period and then destroyed.
- Termination by the Company: The Company may terminate the agreement if the User commits a prohibited act under Article 10 or materially breaches these Terms. In such cases, the Company will notify the User in advance, and the User may file an objection.
- If a valid subscription period remains at the time of termination, it will be handled in accordance with the refund policy in Article 8.
Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company provides the Service "as-is" and does not warrant that the Service is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors.
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from any of the following.
- Force majeure such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, or power outages
- Service disruption attributable to the user
- Service failures of third parties (telecom carriers, cloud providers, etc.)
- Damages arising from use of the free service
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's liability for damages is limited to the fees paid by the User during the most recent 3 months.
- RightPose AI is not a medical device or medical service. The posture analysis and alerts provided by the service are for reference only and do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have any physical condition, be sure to consult a medical professional.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
- Disputes relating to these Terms and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- If a dispute arises in connection with the use of the Service, the Company and the user shall first attempt to resolve it through mutual consultation.
- If no agreement is reached, you may apply for mediation to a dispute mediation body under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (Korea), or, in the case of litigation, file suit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act (Korea).

Article 15 (Miscellaneous)
- Matters not stipulated in these Terms are governed by applicable laws, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (Korea), the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (Korea), and the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions (Korea).
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid under applicable law, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
